Date

Time
7:00 AM (UTC-04:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Duration
3 hours

Description

This non-accredited virtual Single Topic Summit will explore key areas of uncertainty and variability in the identification, referral, and multidisciplinary management of patients with high-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). The program will consist of two independent, faculty-led 45-minute sessions.

The educational design is intended to move from recognition of high-risk disease, to referral and multidisciplinary coordination, to evolving perioperative treatment considerations, and finally to application of multidisciplinary decision-making in complex cases. Interactive audience polling and faculty discussion will be incorporated throughout.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the summit, participants should be better able to:

  • Recognize clinical, pathologic, and patient-specific factors that may identify patients with high-risk CSCC who warrant multidisciplinary evaluation.
  • Apply multidisciplinary approaches to referral, treatment planning, and sequencing of surgery, radiation therapy, and systemic therapy in patients with high-risk CSCC.
  • Evaluate evolving evidence for perioperative immunotherapy and its potential implications for patient selection and clinical decision-making.
  • Integrate perspectives across dermatology/Mohs surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgical/head and neck oncology when navigating complex or ambiguous CSCC cases.

This is a non-CME event. By registering for this program, you consent to share your registration information with the program's sponsor.
