Tia Bacon, a registered nurse, graduated with her bachelor's in science and nursing from Allen College. She has been employed by UnityPoint Health for 13 years with the last 6 years specializing in advanced wound care. She currently serves as the Clinical Program Director for UnityPoint Health - Marshalltown's Wound Healing Center where they contract with Healogics, the nation's leading provider in advanced wound care. Tia has assisted her wound center with achieving the Healogics Divisional Center of the Year, The President's Award, Clinical Excellence Award, and several other accolades over the past 6 years which is a reflection of their outstanding healing percentages, patient satisfaction, and median days to heal. Tia resides on a farm in Central Iowa with her family where loving animals comes easy to her.
