Speaker Bio
Cassandre Voltaire, DO, ABWMS is a board-certified family medicine physician with advanced training in wound care and geriatrics. Her work in skilled nursing and long-term care has focused on improving clinical consistency, strengthening interdisciplinary communication, and helping teams translate evidence-based wound care into reliable day-to-day practice.
Drawing on her experience as both a certified nursing assistant and physician, Dr. Voltaire brings a frontline perspective to wound prevention, documentation, clinical escalation, and the realities of implementing care across people, shifts, and disciplines. She is particularly interested in the gap between knowing what should happen and making sure it happens consistently in practice.
Dr. Voltaire is the founder of the WoundFit Community, an educational initiative supporting clinicians in developing confidence and competence in wound care, and the creator of NoGuess™, a wound-care reliability and implementation program for skilled nursing facilities focused on identifying where intended care breaks down, addressing the underlying barrier, and building processes that can hold over time.
As a speaker, Dr. Voltaire is committed to making wound care education practical, engaging, and immediately applicable to everyday clinical practice.
