Dr. Suhail Sharif is a board-certified general surgeon and a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX. Specializing in the surgical management of advanced colorectal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, melanoma/sarcoma, breast, and GI tract malignancies, Dr. Sharif is one of the few providers of Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemoperfusion for advanced abdominal cancers with carcinomatosis in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He also offers loco-regional hepatic and pancreatic-based therapies using ablative and Nanoknife technology. Dr. Sharif is an expert in minimally invasive robotic-assisted DaVinci® Surgery for the surgical management of cancers. Due to his vast experience with immunocompromised patients, he is also an expert in the management of complex surgical wounds.

Dr. Sharif holds many leadership positions in the Fort Worth and Arlington area hospitals, including serving as Medical Director of Surgical Oncology and a Member of the Board of Trustees at Medical City Fort Worth, and as Medical Director of Surgical Services at Baylor All Saints Hospital. Dr. Sharif is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, TX, and at the University of North Texas Health Science, Fort Worth, TX. This enables him to define and establish state-of-the-art cancer care locally and nationally. Dr. Sharif believes that educating a patient about the disease process is a key component in their management and also in their success. His philosophy in patient care is “Don’t give up, don’t ever give up.”
