Dr Hornick is an assistant professor of Dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he started the Oncodermatology specialty clinic and studies cutaneous responses to checkpoint inhibition and melanoma-specific T cell clonal dynamics. He received my MD and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from OHSU prior to a Dermatology residency at Yale, where he trained in Oncodermatology under Jonathan Leventhal, MD, and studied loss of tolerance in the skin in reaction to checkpoint inhibition in the laboratory of Nikhil Joshi, PhD.
