Dr. Khushalani earned his M.D. from Topiwala National Medical College, University of Bombay, India in 1995. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the State University of New York, Buffalo followed by a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY in 2002. He is an experienced clinical investigator with expertise in immunotherapy and molecular targeted therapy in skin cancer. His clinical research is focused on treatment for refractory melanoma, treating uveal melanoma, and designing novel clinical trials in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma working with ideas from laboratory research at Moffitt to translate into the clinic. He has held committee positions with ASCO and NCCN and served as a grant reviewer for NIH/NCI and the Department of Defense. Dr. Khushalani is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
