Dr Wesley Yu is an Associate Professor at the Oregon Health & Science University and is the Interim Director of the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Research Program. His clinical practice focuses on cutaneous oncology and reconstruction. Dr Yu leads several clinical trials seeking to prevent recurrence and progression of melanoma through improved surgical technique and novel therapeutics for high- risk tumors. His work has directly impacted clinical practice and has been cited in NCCN guidelines. He also leads a research group that has been continuously federally funded for more than 5 years.
