Dr. Dieter Mayer, MD, FEBVS, FAPWCA, is a vascular surgeon and wound care expert with a longstanding focus on wound healing and interdisciplinary care. He previously served as Director of Wound Care at the University Hospital Zurich, where he established Switzerland’s first dedicated interdisciplinary university wound clinic, and he has authored more than 160 publications in vascular surgery and wound management.
