Description

The objectives of this training focus on enhancing mental health care delivery. Participants will gain an understanding of the characteristics and criteria for various levels of mental health care, including acute, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and residential treatments. Emphasis will be placed on identifying appropriate situations for referring clients to these different treatment options, ensuring that each individual receives the most suitable care. Additionally, strategies for fostering collaboration between referral sources and providers will be developed to streamline the referral process. By enhancing knowledge and skills in these areas, the training aims to improve client treatment outcomes through the effective utilization of alternative levels of care, ultimately supporting individuals on their path to recovery. This comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive the right level of support tailored to their specific needs.
