Dot has spent 44 of her 48 years as a nurse in the practice of ostomy and wound care in all sites of care, has practiced for the past 22 years in outpatient care and is currently a clinician and educator for The Saratoga Hospital Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine.
Among many activities, Dot is the Co-Chair of the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care, on the faculty of the Wound Certification Prep Course, is the Secretary for the International Wound Infection Institute, speaks nationally and internationally on all aspects of wound management, and has authored and co-authored many papers and 13 book chapters.
