Cindy Miller has been a Registered Nurse for the past 47 years For 14 years, Cindy worked in various perioperative and ICU roles. In 1992, Cindy left clinical practice and started her career with KCI.
Cindy has been a leader in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy since V.A.C. ® Therapy’s commercial launch in 1995 in the United States and Canada. She was also instrumental in launching V.A.C. ® Therapy in Japan and China, educating internal teams and lecturing at major universities across those countries.
Cindy is the author of several posters on the Impact of Early vs Late initiation of NPWT in WCCs and in 2024 authored "The Evolution of Commercial Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Systems over the Past Three Decades" in Advances in Wound Care.
Currently Cindy works in Solventum’s Scientific Affairs Department as Global Lead, Clinical Intelligence for the Medical Solutions Division. In this role, she leads and supports a wide variety of medical and clinical strategic insights from early product development through commercialization for the Negative Pressure Wound Therapy portfolios.
