Dr. Lehrman is a board-certified podiatrist and a Certified Professional Coder, Certified Professional Medical Auditor, and Certified Evaluation and Management Coder. He operates Lehrman Consulting, LLC which provides guidance regarding coding, compliance and documentation. Dr. Lehrman serves as a staff liaison at the AMA CPT® Editorial Panel meetings where CPT codes are created, edited, and deleted. He collaborates with the AMA on the writing and editing of CPT Assistant articles and has collaborated with the World Health Organization on ICD-10 coding. Dr. Lehrman regularly attends and participates in the CMS Healthcare Common Procedural Coding System Panel Meetings. He has delivered over 800 coding-related invited lectures and authored or co-authored over 100 papers, articles, blogs, book chapters, and posters.
