Dr. Laura Swoboda is a translational scientist, family nurse practitioner, and wound specialist from Milwaukee, WI. They are a professor of health and social welfare at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. Dr. Swoboda chairs the Health Equity Task Force for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, and the terminology group for the NPIAP's PDSI Initiative. They also co-chair the AHA's PAD Collab Patient & Community Education Committee. Dr. Swoboda is President of the Milwaukee metro Nurse Practitioner Association and represents North America as a Director of the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel.
